Enoch Brown Park #52

I like how the obelisk is still surrounded by leafless "barren" trees. Yet, the green grass and lower vegetation offers hope and promise of spring and life and rebirth. I'm glad the sky was overcast. Typically, I take photos best when the sky is brilliant blue. This grayish sky is reminiscent of the monument itself and casts the appropriate somber tone.
